Hive-IO Announces MSP-in-a-Box Solution for Service Providers to offer Desktops, Servers, Storage and Infrastructure
Hive-IO, a leading software-defined infrastructure solution, today announced a new MSP-in-a-Box solution for desktops, servers, storage and infrastructure. The Hive-IO software defined compute platform provides customers of MSPs with a full infrastructure suite for a fraction of the cost of current approaches.

"Our managed services provider clients see hosted virtual desktops, or desktop as a service, as one their top planned virtualization offerings along with network, storage, datacenter, application and server virtualization, explained Joe Makoid, President, Hive-IO. "Finally, with Hive-IO there is a VDI platform that is fast to deploy, low cost and easy to manage.  This approach is perfect for quick deployment by MSP service providers or via a private cloud."

Hive-IO's platform is a unified cloud solution that reduces cloud storage needs an average of 70%, removes vendor sprawl and provides unparalleled security on premise. The solution services VDI, VSI, HADOOP, and custom Linux workloads, and can be delivered on your premise or in a hybrid cloud depending on customer need. Management of the platform can be done in house or can be sourced externally to Hive-IO certified partners.

"Hive-IO offers a software-defined infrastructure that elevates servers, storage and networking. It is designed to match expanded compute workloads, and free them from outdated, proprietary approaches. This combination offers customers full control of their assets with the most cost-effective offering available," concluded Makoid.
