Saba Adds SaaS Industry Veteran, Pervez Qureshi, as CEO
Saba, a leader in cloud-based intelligent Talent Management solutions, today announced the addition of Pervez Qureshi as CEO and member of the board of directors. Mr. Qureshi will leverage his extensive strategic and operational expertise to accelerate the company's business momentum and extend value to its customers and employees worldwide.

"I am thrilled to be joining Saba. It is a privilege to be part of an organization that offers the incredible combination of a flagship talent management platform and a superb customer base, and has successfully made the transition from on- premise software to SaaS delivery," said Pervez Qureshi, CEO, Saba.

Qureshi was President and CEO of Epicor Software Corporation and a member of its board of directors. Prior to Epicor, he served as President and CEO of Activant Solutions Inc. Epicor Software and Activant Solutions successfully merged in 2011 under Qureshi's leadership. His long career in the high tech industry also includes management roles at Harvest Software, Metaphor Computer Systems, HP, and engineering roles at IBM.

"With the addition of Pervez Qureshi, Saba's business gets an experienced strategic catalyst and a charismatic mid-market growth leader, said David Fishman, Managing Director at Vector Capital. "Pervez will collaborate with the Saba executive team to guide sustainable value to its customers, with innovative products, backed by solid operations and enhanced with a vision for continued growth."

Qureshi's operational strength will complement the customer-facing go-to-market strategy, led by Saba's President, Phil Saunders. Under the guidance of Saunders, Saba has made strategic investments and enhancements across the entire Go-to-Market process, resulting in record second quarter new customer cloud bookings in Saba's second quarter of fiscal year 2016.
