The VMware User Group (VMUG) is returning to Silicon Valley on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Taking place at the San Jose Convention Center, this one-day event is designed for all IT professionals currently using VMware and those considering virtualization.

The Silicon Valley VMUG UserCon will feature several speakers sharing their expertise on a number of relevant topics. In addition to these two presentations and other noteworthy educational sessions, the Silicon Valley VMUG UserCon offers an exciting Tech Pioneers Panel, which will focus on the challenges and triumphs of working in today’s high-tech industry. Moderated by Amy Lewis, Geek Whisperers co-host and SolidFire’s Director of Influence & Field Marketing, the panel also includes VMware’s Amanda Blevins, Director of Technology in the Office of the CTO; Jen Helms, Co-Founder of Playmation Studios; Jeanine Jue, Yodlee Interactive Director of Developer Evangelism; Lauren Malhoit, Technical Marketing Engineer for Cisco; Gina Minks, Tech Product Marketer, blogger, community manager, technical training developer; and John Troyer, founder of TechReckoning and Geek Whisperers cohost.

Unique to this VMUG UserCon is the reunion of Geek Whisperers Amy Lewis, John Troyer, and Matthew Brender, Intel Corporation’s Developer Advocate, Software Defined Infrastructure team. They will not only impart career tips in the “Career Consult with the Geek Whisperers,” but will also record a podcast episode onsite to a live audience!
