On Tuesday, 10 May, 2016, hundreds of IT professionals will gather at
the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, PA, for the
Philadelphia VMUG UserCon. This free, one-day event is designed for
individuals currently using VMware as well as those considering
virtualization. Not only will attendees benefit from highly relevant
educational sessions, but they will also have the opportunity to mingle
with industry leaders and win impressive giveaways.
The Philadelphia VMUG UserCon will position both experts and novices for
success! The event begins with a fairly technical VMware
keynote—featuring a bonus demonstration—by Aaron Sweemer, Director of
Field Strategy, Cloud Native Apps. In “Increase Business Agility with
vSphere Integrated Containers,” Sweemer will describe how the software
can bridge the gap between IT Operations and Development teams.
Encouraging IT professionals to connect with one another and develop
mutually beneficial business relationships is another key goal of the
Philadelphia VMUG UserCon. Roundtable discussions will be held at lunch
covering a variety of topics including NSX, VSAN, EUC/Horizon and
vRealize Automation. Attendees can also visit the highly populated
Exhibit Hall—where a number of VMUG partners will be in attendance—and a
closing reception sponsored by VMware vCloud Air.
