Dataguise Shows Security and Compliance Innovations for Cloud-Based Data Infrastructure at AWS Summit in New York

Dataguise, a technology leader in secure business execution, today announced it will exhibit at the Amazon AWS Summit in New York City, August 10-11. The company's focus at the summer event will include the support of DgSecure 6.0 for Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL data, and object repositories in Amazon S3 using the Amazon Elastic MapReduce platform. Dataguise will also showcase the availability of DgSecure in the AWS Marketplace and provide booth visitors with a five day free trial of its latest generation software.

Dataguise DgSecure 6.0 on AWS is a data-centric security platform that scans for sensitive information stored on Amazon S3 and identifies the location and status of this information throughout its lifecycle. The solution features transparent, role-based sensitive asset provisioning on the Amazon EMR platform so that users have access to sensitive data hosted on Amazon S3 through DgSecure role-based access policies.

Dataguise technology helps organizations leverage the full potential of their data by providing detection, protection, monitoring, and auditing of sensitive information across the distributed enterprise and in cloud-based repositories. The solution supports data-driven organizations in maintaining total ownership of all known and unknown sensitive data, enabling business users to drive exceptional value from Amazon S3 implementations.

"By listing their products in AWS Marketplace, Dataguise provides customers with an easier way to quickly procure and deploy DgSecure application solutions on the scalable and secure environment of AWS," said Barry Russell, General Manager of Global Business Development, AWS Marketplace and Catalog Services. "Our customers need streamlined access to easy-to-use software like DgSecure that is available quickly to help them access, monitor and audit their sensitive information running on AWS."

DgSecure expands upon what the cloud can offer, providing IT and business executives the insight they need to:

  • Understand data breach, privacy, and compliance risks, on a global scale, at any given time
  • Make risk-based decisions about data access, usage, and security
  • Provide additional layers of protection for organizational data while facilitating new data-driven initiatives to grow the business

"Our mutual support for data driven organizations in the cloud is unmatched and the enterprise will be the ultimate beneficiary of this important alignment," said JT Sison, VP, Marketing and Business Development, Dataguise. "The AWS Summit in New York allows us to show the power of our platform, taking organizations to the next level from the collective use of these technologies."

During the AWS Summit in New York City, Dataguise will activate its Five-Day Free Trial Program, providing prospective customers with full access to DgSecure software for a limited time. Organizations participating in the program will also receive up to $300 in AWS credits, along with instructions on how to implement DgSecure.
