Zerto, which provides continuous availability and disaster recovery solutions, announced today that its Zerto Virtual Replication product will be re-sold by HPE. The partnership is designed to provide business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) capabilities for HPE Helion CloudSystem solutions. Helion CloudSystem is HPE's integrated hardware and software solution for hybrid cloud. It allows customers to move traditional apps to the cloud and build cloud native apps.
Zerto's software will help protect critical HPE Helion CloudSystem applications and data, while also improving BC/DR for hybrid cloud applications. Zerto for HPE Helion CloudSystem provides a recovery point objective (RPO) of seconds and a recovery time objective (RTO) of minutes. It also allows for failover automation for applications and integration with CloudSystem's management stack.
"As companies of all industry types and sizes continue to embrace cloud-based IT infrastructures, they're facing the challenge of building hybrid cloud capabilities that improve their IT resilience and help keep mission critical operations moving forward no matter what comes their way," said Paul Zeiter, president of Zerto. "Zerto's software coupled with HPE CloudSystem offers a highly resilient and flexible platform supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud service models that helps customers achieve full protection from any outage and a competitive advantage."
The combination of HPE Helion CloudSystem 10 and Zerto Virtual Replication allows users to protect critical workloads, running on HPE hybrid and private cloud environments, from disruptions such as human error, or more catastrophic cases like ransomware attacks and natural disasters.
HPE Helion CloudSystem 10 will be available with Zerto Virtual Replication BC/DR software starting September 26th, 2016. For more information, visit the Zerto HPE solution site.
