HyperGrid announced it is attending this year's VMworld Europe in Barcelona for the first time, which takes place over 17-20 October 2016. The company is going to use the venue to showcase its container-based, application-aware HyperConverged Infrastructure-as-a-Service (HCIaaS) solution, and talk about its pay-as-you-consume pricing model to demonstrate how businesses can take steps towards improving their IT estate.
HyperGrid said it will also be showcasing its new HyperForm solution of next-generation IT services built on Docker containers now able to support the automated deployment and life-cycle management of applications running on Microsoft Windows Server Containers. Providing on-the-fly containerization for deployment of existing .NET applications, HyperForm provides automated provisioning of Windows Server 2016 virtual machines on any cloud.
Doug Rich, VP of EMEA, HyperGrid said: "We are delighted to be bringing the industry's first HyperConverged Infrastructure-as-a-Service to VMworld Europe for the first time. Ideally suited to those users looking for an infrastructure refresh, HCIaaS provides all the benefits of the cloud, with the security and compliance of on-premise systems that can be metered and consumed on a per-unit basis, scaling up or down as businesses demand."
HCIaaS is the first solution that bridges the needs of traditional and cloud-native developers with IT Operations, delivering an AWS-like environment that enables complete DevOps. By combining compute, storage and network capabilities within a single server, users are provided with a drastic space reduction as well as an all-in-one system. By merging the three services together, cost reductions and high performances are assured.
