According to the report, “DRaaS became mainstream in 2015, with many providers experiencing double-digit revenue growth. DRaaS production instances have climbed from approximately 30,000 in 2015 to more than 50,000 thus far in 2016.” Additionally, “By 2018, 20 percent of enterprises with a minimum of 5,000 employees will be failing over the operation of one or more production applications to DRaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS) or cloud-enabled managed hosting.”

“Bluelock’s focus on delivering the best customer experience in the industry through the Bluelock Experience (BLX) has been central to our success,” explains Christopher Clapp, CEO at Bluelock. “This experience is rich with insight, transparency and ultimately, results, which our clients depend on to protect and recover their valuable data and services to keep their businesses running smoothly.”

The Gartner Critical Capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service report reviewed 20 vendors, including Bluelock, against seven weighted critical capabilities: physical and virtual system recovery, testing and declaration, service manageability, resiliency, security and compliance, value-added services and customer experience. The research report focuses on the key areas essential to the selection of DRaaS providers and services for four use cases.
