Tintri Wins Storage Vendor of the Year at the 2016 UK CRN Awards

Tintri Inc., a leading producer of VM-aware Storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced that it has won Storage Vendor of the Year at the 2016 CRN Channel Awards. The award was presented at Battersea Park Events Arena in London in front of approximately 3,000 attendees.

The CRN Channel Awards celebrates innovation and technical excellence within the channel. The event brought IT leaders, vendors, and customers together to celebrate with some of the industry's leading channel partners.

This year, Tintri announced the expansion of its Global Partner Program to help partners grow sales of Tintri-all-flash through access to more solutions, training, enablement and incentives. The program rolled out new tiers including Elite, Premier and Authorized, increased incentives and added an automated system for rewarding partners. Tintri also introduced the Tintri Cloud Service Provider Solution to enable new revenue opportunities for its provider partners -- featured in the CRN Cloud Partner Program Guide.

Yael Zheng, CMO at Tintri, commented: "We work hard to support and reward our partners with offerings, training, co-marketed events and campaigns that demonstrate a differentiated approach to storage. To be identified as a Storage Vendor of the Year for 2016 by CRN in such a competitive category is truly an honor-it validates our commitment to work closely and strategically with our partners to meet the growing need for simplified and high-performance enterprise cloud."

Darren Gross, Director EMEA Channels at Tintri, commented: "Winning a CRN Channel Award is a great achievement for the Tintri team and underlines our commitment to our channel partners. In 2016, we set out to provide them with the ideal blend of product and partnership, and being named 'Storage Vendor of the Year' is fantastic recognition that our approach is valued and highly effective."

Tintri's enterprise cloud platform is built on a web-services architecture with RESTful APIs for organizations that want Amazon-like agility with the automation of private cloud. Most recently, Tintri announced expanded orchestration and automation capabilities as well as support for containers delivered through vSphere 6.5 integration. These updates simplify the deployment and management of enterprise cloud for organizations and service providers.
