Trace3 Builds Out Expertise for Enterprise Security Consulting Practice
Trace3, the premier provider of IT solutions and consultation services, announced a broad expansion of its cybersecurity consulting offerings today with the launch of a new Security Business Unit.

The new unit will consist of four major practice areas, each headed by newly hired industry leaders:

  • Identity and Access Management Practice: Will provide cloud identity services and governance, Privilege Access Management (PAM), single sign-on for SAAS Solutions, and user behavior analytics.
  • Data Security Practice: Will cover data leakage prevention, data rights management, encryption services, database security and application security.
  • Security Operations Practice: Will focus on delivering the next-generation security operations center, security analytics, workflow automation, incident response, end-point security, and threat hunting.
  • Security Strategy Practice: Will continually review all the latest security products and services on the market to design long-term threat prevention strategies for customers. Due to the proliferation of corporate mergers and legacy software systems, this service aims to help customers integrate their assembled security tools and create benchmarks to improve their ongoing security postures.

"When I attended my first Trace3 VC Briefing in the Silicon Valley, I was struck by the impact a forward-facing outlook had on our customers. I feel our Security Offering falls in line with that vision and answers an overwhelming desire to have threat prevention as part of that plan," said Tony Olzak, Trace3 Vice President of Security. "The world is undergoing a profound digital transformation, and our mission is to empower businesses to take the necessary steps to thrive in this digital age."

The new security offering is based on Trace3's comprehensive Envisioning methodology for professional services delivery. Envisioning is a holistic, vendor-agnostic services engagement that gives clients a comprehensive security framework based on their unique risk profiles and threat vectors.

The explosion of new mobile devices, IoT sensors, big data feeds and cloud software have greatly increased the risks of digital hacks and breaches. The Trace3 Security Envisioning program combines cognitive computing and machine learning to identify network patterns and pinpoint dangerous anomalies, enabling users to respond nearly in real-time.

"We are pleased to have Trace3 as a strategic partner, given our shared commitment to bringing innovative cybersecurity solutions and services to market," said Shawn Henry, CrowdStrike President of Services and Chief Security Officer. "Our partnership expands opportunities for current and existing customers to procure our endpoint security platform and easily access the full value of CrowdStrike's best-of-breed technologies and professional services."

"Digital transformation creates new opportunities for business and security leaders to drive innovation," said Haiyan Song, Splunk Senior Vice President of Security Markets. "SplunkĀ® data analytics and security solutions help customers evolve their security program and posture using an analytics-driven approach to security. Splunk collaborates with partners like Trace3 to help customers implement concepts like security command centers so they can take full advantage of digital transformation with security always top of mind."
