When IT administrators need to power down a VM just to migrate it, business can suffer. Principled Technologies (PT) tested a VM migration in a VMware vCloud Air hybrid cloud with and without VMware vCloud Air Hybrid Cloud Manager (HCM). PT found that after adding HCM to the infrastructure, they could migrate a VM significantly faster and with no downtime at all.
