Tegile Systems, the leading provider of flash-driven storage arrays for databases, virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, today announced that its IntelliFlash HD was awarded silver in Storage Magazine's 2016 Products of the Year awards. Recognized in the all-flash systems category, IntelliFlash HD combines Tegile's IntelliFlash operating platform with the high-density flash to deliver the performance and economics organizations need to run an all-flash data center.

Tegile's IntelliFlash HD product is ideal for medium and large enterprises looking to accelerate business applications, eliminate storage silos and pursue data center consolidation. Its multi-tiered approach to storing data allows businesses to consolidate all workloads on a single all-flash array, intelligently managing both high-performance enterprise-grade flash and high-density flash. IntelliFlash HD also delivers up to five million IOPS (input/output operations per second) and 10 PB of effective capacity in a single rack at under 50 cents per effective GB, allowing businesses to move data to an exclusively all-flash architecture without traditional cost restrictions.

"We aimed to build a universal system that would allow our customers across various verticals to consolidate workloads and analyze their data through applications at exceptional speeds," said Rohit Kshetrapal, CEO of Tegile Systems. "Recognition as a leader in all-flash validates our industry expertise and technology prowess to create an array that excels in both performance and capacity, at a great value."
