Turbonomic,
the leading provider of autonomic performance for the hybrid cloud,
today announced that Jennifer Heard has joined the company as senior
vice president for Global Strategic Partners. Jennifer joins Turbonomic
after nearly 22 years as a Microsoft senior executive leading 1,600
sellers and 2,500 partners worldwide. Her appointment comes one year
after the launch of the Turbonomic 360o Partner Program, during which time the company grew its partner base by over 100 percent.
"We're
thrilled to have Jennifer join the Turbonomic team," said CEO Ben Nye.
"As a CIO, and then working with CIOs, she understands the pressures
they face. Her leadership in a channel-driven organization like
Microsoft demonstrates a dedication to the channel we want to
replicate. Customers transforming their data centers with cloud and
other advanced technologies need trusted advisors to guide their
journey, and the smartest partners understand how Turbonomic can ensure
that journey is profitable and risk-free."
Jennifer's
experience leading digital transformation is strengthened by the
various positions she has held - starting as a programmer, to managing
technology decisions as a CIO for a high-tech company, to leading the
worldwide commercial and channel segment for Microsoft. As Microsoft's
Worldwide Vice President for Corporate Accounts and Partner Sales,
Jennifer's team grew cloud revenue contribution to nearly 40 percent of
the all up business by driving co-engagement and co-selling engines with
over 2,500 partners. She was named to CRN's "Women of the Channel" in 2015.
"I
could not be more excited to join a transformational company like
Turbonomic," said Heard. "From my years as a CIO as well as decades
working with them, I understand the incredible challenges they face.
I've never encountered a technology so completely on the right side of
history, and am excited to leverage the channel to help thousands more
CIOs discover the power of Turbonomic's autonomic platform."
