Velostrata,
a leader in cloud workload mobility, today announced Jan Poczobutt as
vice president of sales for North America. Jan brings over two decades
of experience in sales, business development and marketing, and has been
a leader in transforming companies to the public cloud. In this role, he
will be responsible for Velostrata’s commercial success and go to market
efforts, as well as building out the company’s channel partner program.
“With a strong product and rapidly accelerating cloud adoption,
Velostrata is growing quickly,” said Issy Ben-Shaul, CEO and co-founder
of Velostrata. “The skills and immense industry knowledge in cloud
computing that Jan will bring to our team enables us to accelerate
growth and broaden our reach. We’re thrilled to welcome Jan to our
management team and look forward to continuously accelerating our
overall growth.”
Jan’s experience spans both start-ups as well as Fortune 100 Tech
companies, such as Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. Prior to Velostrata,
he was at Barracuda Networks where he built Barracuda’s public cloud
business into the number one security ISV, winning Microsoft’s coveted
Partner of the Year award. His vision and execution enabled Barracuda to
successfully bring over 1,000 enterprise customers to production
deployments in the public cloud. Prior to Barracuda, Jan ran worldwide
channel sales for Core Security Technologies. Before that, he was vice
president of worldwide sales at Quaresso Software. He holds a BSME from
the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from University of Virginia’s
Darden School of Business.
As vice president of sales, Jan will be focused on building Velostrata’s
relationships with key partners and growing adoption of Velostrata’s
cloud migration and workload mobility software across enterprises.
Velostrata software helps organizations migrate production workloads to
the public cloud in minutes vs. days, with an agentless solution that
simplifies and automates the conversion of application workloads to AWS
or Azure.
“As I’ve engaged with enterprises around the world in their journey to
the cloud, I’ve seen firsthand how they struggle to migrate workloads to
the cloud with speed and scale. They’ve often tried other tools and
technologies for the task, but these approaches have fallen short,
resulting in increased costs, extra labor and missed timelines,” said
Jan Poczobutt, VP of sales at Velostrata. “Velostrata’s unique,
purpose-built solution for migrating to the cloud is just what these
enterprises need.”
