Comodo, a global innovator and developer of cybersecurity solutions and the world's No. 1 certificate authority, today announced the launch of the
Comodo Academy, an online educational portal, to grant certification to thousands of managed service provider (MSP) and IT department users of Comodo ONE, its comprehensive IT and security management (ITSM) platform.
Comodo ONE is continually adding new applications and enhancing existing apps with new capabilities based on user input. The free academy will give partners the knowledge and tools they need to maximize the benefits of Comodo ONE for their businesses and customers, increase revenue and decrease expenses, ensuring they are always at pace with the cutting-edge changes.
"Comodo ONE is a robust platform with lots of capabilities, and we want our partners to get the most out of it. That's why we created the academy. We want our partners to succeed, because if they succeed, we succeed, too," said Comodo CEO Melih Abdulhayoglu.
The Comodo Academy features a course called "Be a Comodo Dragon - Get Certified," which offers an overview of the most popular, core functionalities of the platform. The course is comprised of nine videos and includes several practical exercises and brief quizzes. Users who successfully complete the course are certified as a Comodo Dragon, and are awarded a certificate and badge suitable for posting and sharing.
Comodo ONE centralizes an array of widely used ITSM tools, such as remote monitoring and management (RMM), ticketing, patch management, and reporting, all in one pane of glass. The IT management applications, which are free to all users, are designed to help MSPs run their businesses more efficiently in order to support growth, and to assist IT administrators in managing their networks.
"Comodo's mission is to create trust online, and we hope that as our Comodo ONE partners become certified and invest time in learning about our security products, they'll see the benefits and want to continue using them," said Abdulhayoglu.
In addition to the free IT management applications, Comodo ONE offers a 30-day free trial of many of Comodo's class-leading security features, such as Dome Shield, Valkyrie, and the patent-pending Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP). In addition to the ITSM apps, Comodo offers other benefits, such as access to unlimited custom scripts, a major problem-solver for IT administrators and MSPs alike. Users also have free 24/7 support and Comodo's promise that the platform will be free forever.
The Comodo Academy is available on most operating systems, including Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. There is also a Comodo ONE mobile app that focuses on ticketing that is available on both Apple and Android. Comodo Academy is available for anyone to use and can be accessed by visiting www.comodoacademy.com.
