Are you attending VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas, NV? If so, I invite you to add ManageEngine to your MUST SEE list of vendors.
With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths
to visit
and who to get on your busy schedule? One of the companies on VMblog's
list this year is ManageEngine. ManageEngine crafts a broad suite of IT management
software. They have more than 90 products and free
tools to manage all of your IT operations: from networks and servers to
applications, service desk, Active Directory, security, desktops, and
mobile devices.
Read this exclusive pre-show interview with ManageEngine to learn what they have planned for the
upcoming VMworld 2017 event.

VMblog: As a VMworld 2017
sponsor, how can people find you this year?
ManageEngine: Our
booth number is 112. We are platinum sponsor with a 10x20 booth, and we'll have
seven staff members at the event. Come by and say hi!
VMblog: Is there anything
unique about this year's booth setup? Do
you have a theme?
ManageEngine: Our
booth this year is all about making our user's IT as straightforward and
comprehensive as possible, so our booth is themed around #uncomplicate.
VMblog: Can you give readers
a few reasons why your product or service is considered unique?
ManageEngine: No
other vendor in the market has what we do: Our unified IT management software, OpManager, offers solutions for network
monitoring, physical server and VM monitoring, bandwidth management,
configuration management, firewall log management, IP address management, and
switch port management.
VMblog: Why should a VMworld
attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?
ManageEngine: Our
products offer comprehensive solutions for virtualization management, while
still being very intuitive and easy to use.
VMblog: What do you like most
about sponsoring VMworld?
ManageEngine: VMworld
is a big event for us. As a company, we connect best with the people on the
ground, actually working with our software, and VMworld gives us a great
opportunity to do exactly that.
VMblog: Can you give VMblog
readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this
year?
ManageEngine: This
year, we'll be demoing the latest versions of our products for virtualization
management, VM patch management, server management, IT management, and more.
Attendees should feel free to stop by for a demo or just to chat, but can take
a look at how easy and affordable our solutions are.
VMblog: How does your company
and product fit within the VMware ecosystem?
ManageEngine: Our
company offers solutions for ITOM, ITSM, and IT security management. Our
products help monitor and manage VMware systems for performance, patches, and
security.
VMblog: What are you looking
forward to most at VMworld this year?
ManageEngine: We're mostly looking forward to talking with
attendees about their needs and seeing how we can help solve them. We're also
looking forward to letting people know about our portfolio of solutions, which
can help attendees better manage their VMware environment and their IT, as a
whole.
VMblog: How many times have you sponsored
VMworld before? And what keeps you coming back?
ManageEngine: We've
sponsored VMworld for many years now, and the thing that keeps us coming is
just the chance to connect with our users and other IT professionals face to
face. It's really a great opportunity to find out what users need and how we
can help make their jobs easier.
VMblog: How has exhibiting at
VMworld helped your company's bottom line?
ManageEngine:
Exhibiting at VMworld is great for our bottom line as we end up
informing a lot of new users about our solutions, which they typically adopt.
On top of that, it's a great chance to consult with existing users and make
sure they're happy.
VMblog: What
would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about attending VMworld
but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?
ManageEngine:
VMworld is a great event that will help them stay up to date
about the latest technological advancements in the virtualization space and the
solutions that help them to manage better.
VMblog: What
do you think we need to do collectively as an ecosystem to strengthen the
industry?
ManageEngine:
It could definitely help to have more of a community where
vendors and customers can discuss ways to simplify IT management and work
together in building a better ecosystem.
VMblog: What
do you hope to come away with from exhibiting at VMworld?
ManageEngine: Our main goal is to spread the news about our portfolio of
solutions to as many attendees as possible and gather feedback from them so
that we can build even better products.
VMblog: Do
you have any tips for first time attendees of VMworld that you'd like to share?
ManageEngine: Take your time! The best interactions at
these shows come from taking time to learn about all the solutions available
and have authentic discussions. And don't forget to take your vitamins and get
plenty of rest!
VMblog: Attendees always
enjoy a good trade show tchotchke. Are you guys giving away anything
special or interesting this year?
ManageEngine: We like
to appreciate those attendees who come by for demos and will have long sleeved
shirts we're giving away, along with some fun stickers and even USB drives.
