Ficolo,
a Data Center company specialized in Cloud Delivery services, is the
first company in the Nordic countries to offer a new and easy way to
manage a number of public and private clouds. Ficolo's Multi-Cloud
solution significantly improves the usability and cost-effectiveness of
cloud services.
"The
Multi-Cloud solution combines the advantages of both the public and
private cloud models. Ficolo improves on the model by providing
individual customization, deployment support, automation design and
implementation, and other professional services. This way we can offer
customers a comprehensive multi-cloud service at a cost-effective,
wholesale price. Public cloud services can now be obtained without a
credit card, which reduces security risks and costs caused by shadow
IT," says Seppo Ihalainen, the CEO of Ficolo.
The
Multi-Cloud solution is based on a product developed by the US company
Morpheus Data LLC, whose customers include McDonald's, HSBC and
AstraZeneca. The solution facilitates application lifecycle management
and service monitoring. It also allows flexibility in the use of IaaS
and PaaS services, as well as DevOps methods.
"The
solution is an excellent addition to Ficolo's Cloud Delivery concept,
which includes all the necessary service components for delivering
global cloud services, from colocation space and cloud connectivity to
best-in-class security solutions," says Ihalainen.
"We
at Morpheus are happy to be able to offer our products to Ficolo's wide
range of customers. The Ficolo team has a strong vision for the
development of cloud services and solutions that add significant value
for their customers. We are excited to be a part of that value
creation," says Pete Beecher, President of Morpheus Data LLC.
For
Ficolo, partnership with Morpheus is an important step towards
consistent growth and internationalization. In 2016, Ficolo's revenue
amounted to 3.1 million euros, and this year's revenue estimate is 6.0
million euros. Ficolo has nearly a hundred SaaS service, cloud service,
IT service and IoT service providers as their customers, with tens of
millions of users.
