Macaw Announces Enterprise Grade Microservices Runtime Platform for Kubernetes

Macaw Software, provider of Enterprise Grade Microservices platform, announces availability of its new integrated offering with Kubernetes. This new offering enables enterprises to rapidly develop, evolve and operate highly scalable and distributed Microservices applications with Macaw platform while leveraging strengths of Kubernetes in container orchestration and resource scheduling. Macaw integration with Kubernetes makes it one of the most comprehensive cloud native platforms to build and scale Microservices applications. This new Macaw offering is optimized for Kubernetes users to run containerized Microservices applications at scale.

Implementing and operating large scale Microservices applications in production requires an effective solution that is best at both Microservices and Containers. This integrated offering provides prescriptive path to build and deploy modern cloud native applications and provides many built-in development, runtime and operational tool set.

Macaw and Kubernetes Integrated Offering delivers a Complete Cloud Native Stack.

  • Macaw: One stop Microservices Platform, offers Microservices development, polyglot runtime and operations capabilities
  • Kubernetes: One stop Container Platform, offers scale and orchestration layer for containers
  • Macaw + Kubernetes: One integrated complete Cloud Native Stack

The integrated stack delivers the following capabilities:

  • Programming model and toolset to define, author and build Microservices applications.
  • Automatically package and deploy Microservices as containers
  • Built-in application services and key architectural components for Microservices
  • Management and Governance of Microservices applications
  • Container management and automation with Kubernetes
  • Portability, scalability and infrastructure choice with Kubernetes

"We see a sustained increase in adoption of container technologies and Kubernetes, however this is mostly from an application scale and portability point of view and not directly translating to application modernization, due to complexity involved in building and operating Microservices based applications. With this integrated offering, enterprises will now be able to take their Kubernetes investments further with Macaw Microservices capabilities, allowing them to easily and effectively build and operate modern, highly scalable and distributed cloud native applications," said Bhaskar Krishnamsetty, Chief Product Officer of Macaw Software.

Macaw Software is pleased to announce its participation at Oracle OpenWorld 2017, API World Conference and Hackathon 2017. Macaw software successfully conducted many Hackathons around the world. These Hackathon sessions offer a chance for developers to showcase their skills and gain valuable insights in developing and managing Microservices based applications.
