IGEL, a world leader in endpoint management software for the secure enterprise, announced today that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Jeff Kalberg, Technology Evangelist, as one of the IT channel's "100 People You Don't Know But Should" for 2017.

With
more than 35 years of industry experience, much of it spent as an IT
consultant, Kalberg has advised some of the world's largest and most
respected companies on their endpoint management strategies. He is an
expert at helping IGEL's channel partners and their customers select and
implement best-of-breed technologies that drive end-user efficiency,
streamline IT operations and promote secure access to virtual desktop
infrastructure (VDI) and applications. Over the past year, Kalberg has
also played an integral role in helping IGEL achieve a number of
important milestones including an 890% increase in software revenues in
the U.S. market in the first half of 2017 and 156% growth worldwide.
"Jeff
bleeds IGEL yellow, demonstrating a level of passion and commitment for
VDI, IGEL and our channel partners that shines through in everything he
does," said Jed Ayres, President and CEO, IGEL North America. "A master
problem solver, Jeff is always ready to impart his vast knowledge and
understanding of IGEL to help our channel partners jump over the many
small (and large) hurdles that often stand in the way of VDI success,
making this complex world seem consumable and simple. And, as if that
weren't enough he's an incredible orator to boot - leading partner
training sessions and speaking at partner and customer events 50+ times
per year. Congratulations Jeff on this well-deserved honor - we are
extremely proud to have you on our team."
The
CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and
other industry executives, compiles the annual "100 People You Don't
Know but Should" list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management
team members from the industry's top vendors and distributors. Those
selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs
and policies that support and advance the IT channel.
"A
number of unsung channel heroes work hard every day to drive
innovation, profits and successful partnerships, holding the IT
ecosystem's equilibrium steady and keeping it on a path to growth," said
Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. "They may not often share
the spotlight with more high-profile channel figures, but the difference
they make is irrefutable. We are pleased to shine a light on these
individuals with CRN's 2017 list of 100 People You Don't Know But Should
and to honor their essential contributions to the channel."
The 2017 list of 100 People You Don't Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com/100people.
