Zenoss Inc., the leader in Software-Defined IT Operations (SDITO), today announced the launch of TechZen, the new Zenoss user community. Zenoss has facilitated a user community for over 10 years, and it has become the de facto online gathering place for IT Ops and DevOps professionals. The new community platform introduces innovative collaboration capabilities, enhances overall user experience, and provides scalability to support the rapid membership growth.

"The investment in the new community platform is key in enabling them to innovate and overcome challenges by leveraging the collective intelligence of the group," said Brian Wilson, chief customer officer for Zenoss. "With the level of complexity in modern IT environments, having immediate and unlimited access to this intelligence can be the difference between success or failure."

The Zenoss community is a central hub for more than 3,000 members worldwide. Discussions center on all Zenoss SDITO products, software as a service (SaaS), openness and extensibility via the ZenPack SDK, and industry trends. The new platform introduces enhanced discussions and knowledge-sharing, improving the ways members help one another and forge new industry connections. Since deploying in May 2017, Zenoss has seen a 140 percent increase in TechZen membership and engagement over the same time period the previous year.

"It's good to see the continued Zenoss investment in connecting users and customers via the TechZen Community, our most valuable resource for peer knowledge," said Andrew Kirch, TechZen Community member and ZenMaster. "Access to such a broad peer network is a key reason IT professionals choose Zenoss."

The platform's privacy features enable members to select what they wish to share with different group segments, to participate in private beta product discussions, and to join customer advisory forums.

"Our TechZen Community is a huge priority for us and for our practitioners from around the globe," said John Boyle, manager of technology partnerships and community for Zenoss. "It is a privilege to interact with so many bright professionals with so many different, valuable technical perspectives. We're committed to doing whatever it takes to continue the rapid expansion of this thriving environment that's making a difference in the lives of our users."
