SolarWinds to Demonstrate Performance Optimization for Cloud and On-Premises SQL Server Databases at PASS Summit 2017

SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, today announced its participation at PASS Summit 2017, October 31-November 3, 2017, in Seattle, Washington. SolarWinds Head Geek and nine-time Microsoft MVP, Thomas LaRock, will present an overview of SQL Server Audit. The company will also exhibit its latest updates to SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), including AlwaysOn Availability Group monitoring improvements.

"Data is the most critical asset that any company owns. Today's applications have made access to data faster and easier for everyone, which in turn poses challenges to anyone who needs to track and analyze data access patterns," said LaRock.

In his SQL Server Audit session, LaRock will demonstrate how to use the native audit functionality inside of SQL Server as well as the advanced Audit and Threat Detection functionality provided by Microsoft Azure SQL Database. He will also discuss how DBAs can capture and track activity and address the best ways to consume, centralize, and analyze audit logs.
