After taking over the streets of Seattle and Austin these last two years, DockerCon US 2018 is headed to the Moscone Center in San Francisco, June 12-15, 2018. With more than 6,000 attendees expected to take the streets in the coming months, expectations are that this should be the largest DockerCon US event to date.
Even though the event is still 5 months away, things are already starting to take shape. With 8 tracks, workshops, official Docker training,
executive fireside chats, panel discussions, community theaters and hands-on labs,
attending DockerCon 2018 will prove to be one of the most effective ways to learn about Docker and get first hand access to the people, materials and knowledge you desire. Last year in Austin, it was like drinking from a fire hose. With so much that has happened in the industry since then, I can't wait to see what Docker has planned for this year in San Francisco.
The Call for Papers is over, so hopefully you already submitted your speaking topic. If accepted, you can join this great list of speakers already announced:

If you're looking for a container conference, this one should be on your list. Attendees will learn about the latest updates from the
Docker container platform, hear about customer use cases and innovation coming from
the Docker and cloud native ecosystems.
With the agenda already underway and being created, the only thing left is to register for DockerCon and begin the planning process. Act soon, early bird registration is going on until January 31, 2018 -- $990.
DockerCon 2017 was a fantastic event. If you missed it or just want to take a look back at some of the great discussions we had at the show, check out this information and these videos at the VMblog DockerCon 2017 event page.
