Scale Computing Expands Distribution Agreement with Ingram Micro into the United States

Today, Scale Computing expanded its distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, the world's largest wholesale technology distributor, to include the United States.

"After distributing Scale Computing in Canada for more than half of a decade, Ingram Micro is thrilled to expand our alliance to include the United States," said Tim Ament, senior vice president, Advanced Solutions, Ingram Micro U.S. "Through this alliance, Ingram Micro looks forward to providing Scale Computing's hyperconverged solutions to our resellers and service providers throughout North America."

Ingram Micro and its channel partners are now able to provide customers with an all-in-one hyperconverged solution from Scale Computing, which allows maximum performance, low cost of ownership and reliability in their IT infrastructure.

"The expanding alliance with Ingram Micro validates the success of our relationship in Canada, which has created a foundation for us to build upon in the United States," said Scott Mann, director of North American channel at Scale Computing. "With the extensive ecosystem of technology partners within Ingram Micro and Promark, we have an opportunity to offer an industry-validated hyperconverged product that will help them differentiate from the competition in a market that is exponentially growing. We look forward to our continued collaboration with Ingram Micro in the future."

Since 2012, Scale Computing began its distribution relationship with Promark, a premier value-add distributor (VAD) and an Ingram Micro company. The Promark relationship expanded to Ingram Micro Canada and now includes the United States. The new agreement reflects the growing need among businesses to have an all-in-one hyperconverged solution, incorporating server, storage, virtualization and disaster recovery.

"As a channel partner of Scale Computing, we share a common vision on how to effectively serve the IT market," said James Aldridge, vice president, Technology at Matrix Integration. "We look forward to continue working with Scale Computing and Ingram Micro to help customers maximize the value of the technology in the channel."

Between May 14-17, Scale Computing will be attending Trust X Alliance Invitational hosted by Ingram Micro in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
