Veridium, a leader in strong authentication using biometrics, today announced that VeridiumID and the Veridium Authenticator App now support Citrix Cloud and any application that leverages Azure Active Directory (AD), enabling enterprises to eliminate passwords and tokens, replacing them with a software-only biometric authentication solution.

Understanding passwords are the weakest link in enterprise security, Veridium developed enterprise-ready connectors for applications that leverage Azure for Federated Identity such as Citrix Cloud and Office 365 to enhance enterprise security while increasing convenience and productivity with a lower total cost of ownership. The integration replaces passwords and tokens when Citrix Cloud is used with Azure-as well as supporting traditional Citrix on-prem implementations-enabling users to authenticate quickly with multiple biometrics, including: native device sensors like face and Veridium's 4 Fingers TouchlessID.

These are the latest enterprise connectors for the company which previously announced the integration with "Citrix Ready" solutions for XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler and Citrix ShareFile, as well as supporting multiple other services including Microsoft Windows, VPN vendors and Web-delivered applications. The Citrix integration is the first software-only solution for companies Citrix technologies. The solution replaces passwords altogether, enhancing security when authenticating against Active Directory.
