Blockcloud: A Blockchain-Based Advanced TCP/IP Featured in Singapore

Blockcloud, a blockchain-based advanced TCP/IP architecture, was featured at the World Blockchain Forum (WBF) 2018 3AM Singapore Summit, a leading industry event in the blockchain community. The scientific team behind Blockcloud, led by its CEO Zhongxing Ming, presented a technology that can drive the future of cloud computing.

Based on the blockchain technology, Blockcloud will thoroughly dispel credibility issues on a service-centered network, for in the Blockcloud TCP/IP all services are distributed, and every individual on the network can contribute to the distributed storage, computing, and even to its services and pricing, promoting the entire network as a "consensus machine". In addition, Blockcloud offers high performance and great scalability. Applications range from connected vehicles to smart healthcare, smart home, edge computing and sharing economy.

Blockcloud CEO Ming Zhongxing is Visiting Scholar to Princeton University, holds a PhD at Tsinghua University and is a member of the Blockchain Special Committee of China Computer Federation. His team is composed of scientists from top institutions such as Princeton, Tsinghua University, and Tokyo University, advisors from China, USA, Japan, and the Middle East, and partners such as Morgan Stanley, BAT, and Huawei. More than 50% of the core members hold PhDs, and the team includes 15 professors and 4 of China's National Outstanding Scientists. Their overall curriculum lists over 50 papers at top academic conferences and on journals (referenced 400+ times), and 80+ patent applications. Prior to this, they had established industry-leading companies in the field of smart hardware, serving around 5 million end-users and collecting more than 40 million yuan (US$ 6.3 million) in financing.

Having already won multiple investments and tens of thousands of potential users, Blockcloud is committed to building a mature ecosystem.

The World Blockchain Forum (WBF) 2018 will visit major international cities, including Singapore, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Silicon Valley and Seoul. Together with the 3AM blockchain community, the organizers have invited blockchain organization executives, industry leaders, scholars, technology experts and major companies from all over the world. The deep-dive sessions of the conference, with coffee interviews, deep thinking and brainstorming, are meant to foster the technical innovation and guide the development of the blockchain industry.
