SolarWinds MSP Launches MSP Pulse Benchmarking Tool for MSPs

SolarWinds MSP, a global leader in delivering comprehensive, scalable IT service management solutions to IT solution providers and MSPs, has today launched MSP Pulse, a benchmarking tool that is designed to enable managed service providers to effectively understand the health of their business, with deep insight into opportunity areas for new investment, and an understanding of how they rank against their peers.

MSP Pulse was developed in partnership with The 2112 Group, a leading business-strategy firm focused on improving the performance of technology companies' direct and indirect channels. With the new tool, MSPs answer a few questions that drive a customized, comprehensive report. It details:

  • How their MSP business compares with peers across North America and Europe
  • Deep insight into how they stack up on revenue, profit, service selection, sales capacity, customer engagement, and growth potential
  • How to help influence better planning for future investments in the business

MSPs in North America or Europe can use the benchmarking tool for free. Additionally, 2112 and SolarWinds MSP will periodically publish high-level industry reports based on findings from the benchmarking tool.

"As our mission statement communicates, we work to help MSPs succeed," stated John Pagliuca, senior vice president, SolarWinds MSP. "MSP Pulse delivers another key tool they can add to their business growth toolkit, helping them to gain deeper insight into their own business and the state of the market."

"2112 supports the MSP Pulse tool because, like SolarWinds MSP, we are committed to helping businesses build efficient, productive, and prosperous managed services practices," stated Larry Walsh, CEO of The 2112 Group. "We're thrilled to be launching this tool together and look forward to some powerful outcomes."
