Cavirin Systems, Inc.,
the only company providing cybersecurity risk and compliance posture
for the enterprise hybrid cloud, today announced that the first half of
2018 has seen record-breaking growth for the company, with enhancements
to its industry-leading CyberPosture Intelligence platform,
significant executive team hires and global industry recognition. These
milestones demonstrate the company's achievements and continued
leadership in delivering an agentless approach to discover, assess, and
help remediate both cloud accounts (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and workloads
(on-premise, cloud, and container) so that organizations of all sizes
can stay on top of any risk related issues that are discovered.
According to a May 2018 report, Cool Vendors in Cloud Security, by
Gartner, Inc, "Most cloud-using organizations are dissatisfied with the
current state of cloud security management and are willing to consider
use of third-party security orchestration mechanisms." The report,
authored by analysts Jay Heiser, Neil MacDonald, Lawrence Orans, and
Steve Riley, also notes that "starting in 2022, multipurpose cloud
control suites will represent two-thirds of the cloud security
marketplace."
Cavirin's
CyberPosture Intelligence platform removes security compliance as a
barrier to cloud adoption by automating with the broadest set of
customizable frameworks, benchmarks, and guidelines available. The
solution secures both the public cloud control plane as well as target
hybrid cloud workloads (servers), on-premise, within the public cloud,
and within containers. The resulting CyberPosture score permits
organizations to compare their current security posture against the
desired ‘golden posture' and immediately takes corrective action if
required.
On the strength of the company's product strategy as well as its recently announced Cavirin Connect channel program, CRN,
a brand of The Channel Company, has named Cavirin to its 2018 Emerging
Vendors List in the Security category. This list recognizes recently
founded, up-and-coming technology suppliers who are shaping the future
of the IT channel through unique technological innovations. In addition
to celebrating these notable companies, the Emerging Vendors list serves as a valuable resource for solution providers looking to expand their portfolios with cutting-edge technology.
"Cavirin
has seen tremendous momentum in the past months, driven by numerous
strategic actions such as the launch of our successful Channel Connect
Partner Program, several key new hires at the executive level and a
myriad of industry accolades including the recognition as a CRN Emerging
Vendors List in Security," said Jack Kudale, COO at Cavirin. "We are
committed to providing our customers and partners with innovation in the
cybersecurity industry and look forward to continuing the delivery of
cybersecurity risk posture and compliance to the enterprise hybrid cloud
market."
Global Channel Reach
Further
driving Cavirin's momentum in the security space is the launch of the
Cavirin Connect Partner Program which allows resellers, integrators and
MSSPs to deliver cutting-edge cloud security to their customers.
Inaugural program members include Astadia in the United Kingdom; Bodega
Technologies, InterVision, Veristor, and Logicworks in the United
States, Lite Distribution in Australia, Scalar in Canada and Titans
