#VMworld 2018 Q&A: AccelStor Will Showcase Its FlexiRemap Software and Integrations into VMware vSphere VVol and SRM at Booth 2120

Are you attending VMworld 2018 in Las Vegas, NV?  If so, I invite you to add AccelStor to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the company's I recently connected with is AccelStor, and I'm looking forward to meeting them in person at the show.  The company is accelerating the paradigm shift from conventional disk arrays to modern all-flash storage.  And their NeoSapphire all-flash arrays, powered by FlexiRemap software technology, deliver sustained high IOPS for business-critical applications.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Paul Donegan of AccelStor, to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2018 event and why you need to visit their booth.

VMblog:  As a VMworld 2018 sponsor, how can people find you this year?

Paul Donegan:  This year, you can find us at Booth #2120, the same place as before. Our group of experts are excited to help you see your V. dreams come true!

VMblog:  Why should a VMworld attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?

Donegan:  Our theme this year is "FlexiSatisfaction: Take a sip of your V. dream.TM"   AccelStor aims to highlight how your virtualization requirements can easily be met with our highly available shared-nothing hardware architecture and award-winning FlexiRemap® software - which completely eliminates RAID and the performance overhead that comes with it.  We are seeing a 250% performance increase on commodity hardware while simultaneously maintaining dual-disk fault tolerance and extending the life of the SSDs in our arrays by 3X over our competition.  If this sounds too good to be true, come speak to our experts and we'll be happy to walk you through how we do it.

VMblog:  Can you give VMblog readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this year?

Donegan:  So it's all about what the market is asking for.  This year, we've seen a tremendous interest in VDI for VMWare Horizon 7 - so we'll be showcasing our solutions around that and also be releasing updated information with respect to our other VMware Integration points - including vSphere VVol and SRM.

VMblog:  How does your company and product fit within the VMware ecosystem?

Donegan:  As I mentioned this year seems to be all about VDI.  With today's VDI performance expectations coming from thousands of concurrent desktop sessions, AccelStor's NeoSapphire H710 is the high-availability performance champ in that space - generating 700K write IOPs and 1.1M read IOPS on only 24 SSDs. This product is fully tested and validated by Login VSI and integrates seamlessly with VMware Virtual Volumes (VVols) and Site Recovery Manager (SRM).  Additionally, the NeoSapphire all-flash array is easy to use and a perfect fit for all types of VDI sessions - be it standard browsing sessions or power users really pushing the system.

VMblog:  What keeps you coming back to VMworld?

Donegan:  This is our third time joining VMworld and it really is the place to be for us. We've had so many great conversations with industry experts and great feedback from VMware users.  It really is our pleasure to be here again and help VMware adopters simplify and accelerate their digital transformation journey.

VMblog:  Finally, what are you looking forward to most at this year's event?

Donegan:  I personally can't wait to hear more great feedback from our customers and prospects.  Every time we come here we learn something new about what the market is asking for and as VDI becomes more widely adopted by our customers base I really want to hear what they have to say about it and show them how we can help them realize their V. dreams.  Thank you.
