NanoVMs #VMworld 2018 - VMblog Video Interview

VMblog visits the NanoVMs booth during #VMworld 2018 in Las Vegas.

NanoVMs can produce incredibly tiny VMs - 10-20mb large. The reason they are so small is that they contain only a single application. This eliminates a lot of remote code execution attacks out of the gate by design but they also get a huge performance boost from running one app per VM. They can provision thousands of VMs on a single server and have completely reinvented how you can deploy software in a secure manner.

NanoVMs' software can provision specialized virtual machines known as #unikernels that run on any existing #hypervisor. These VMs are incredibly tiny and don't contain a traditional operating system.

Watch and learn more.
