While at VMworld 2018, VMblog interviewed industry experts from a number of different vendors on the show floor to find out where they see the market headed in the coming years. 

In Episode One, we speak with Commvault, ThinPrint, Paessler and Bitdefender and talk about various predictions and futures for the coming year within the IT industry.  Commvault predicts we will end up with a data spread across hybrid cloud or multi-cloud and on-premises, and that we need to evolve to manage and protect that data under one umbrella.  ThinPrint says printing is a key part of innovation in the future.  Paessler sees IoT becoming a major initiative along with tools using AI and machine learning in order to be more predictive about events before they happen.  And Bitdefender says the security industry needs to adapt to the reality of containers and focus more on delivering comprehensive management services to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
