PASS the Bacon: SQL Server Experts and MVPs Breakfast Panel

SIOS is co-sponsoring the PASS the Bacon breakfast at PASS Summit 2018 with AWS, which will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 6:45 AM and will feature an interactive panel discussion with three SQL Server experts MVPs, vExperts and data scientists from Heraflux Technologies, Denny Cherry & Associates Consulting and SQLHA.

Titled, "How Availability Fails in the Cloud," these SQL Server experts will share key lessons learned on avoiding availability failures. The movement from the data center to the cloud is in full swing. And making sure critical SQL Server applications are up and available when hosting SQL Server in public clouds has its own set of challenges. This panel session will answer key questions such as: What availability features do clouds provide - can they do the job? What high availability techniques can be borrowed from the data center and used in cloud successfully - what are the pitfalls? And finally, how do you achieve high performance and highly reliable availability?
