Cloudability today announced the integration of its cloud cost management
platform with monitoring and analytics platform provider, Datadog. This
integration helps customers achieve cloud excellence by delivering performance
efficiency recommendations that are cost optimized, a key requirement of
financial cloud management and cloud agility. Cloudability will be
demonstrating the integration at AWS re:Invent Nov. 26-29 in Las Vegas, Booth
#1316.
"Seeing Cloudability and Datadog collaborate on this integration
makes perfect sense and brings tremendous value to our savvy customer base,"
said Javier D'Ovidio, CEO of Edrans, an AWS Partner. "We've experienced the
power each of their technologies brings to table, and can attest to the demand
for an integrated cost optimization and performance solution for customers who
are committed to achieving true cloud success."
Developing a cloud-native framework for multi-cloud and
single-cloud environments helps customers obtain the highest level of agility
while taking into consideration cost, quality and speed. For example, the
AWS Well-Architected Framework includes strategies to help customers compare
workloads against their best practices and obtain guidance to produce stable
and efficient systems. Cloudability's integration with Datadog helps cloud
architects align their cloud operations with that framework, providing
Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimization that enables them to:
- Make
informed cost optimization decisions based on well-trusted utilization metrics.
- Analyze
spend over time and scale to meet business needs without overspending.
- Create
uniform metric granularity across different cloud providers for normalized
and accurate rightsizing opportunities across clouds.
"Understanding cost, performance and
efficiency can be a significant challenge for enterprises during their cloud
migrations. Combining Datadog's deep insights into application and
infrastructure performance with Cloudability's industry-leading cost management
and governance tooling enables our customers to focus their efforts on
innovation rather than governance," said Ilan Rabinovitch, VP Product and
Community at Datadog. "The capabilities we're putting into the hands of
customers have shown measurable impact allowing them to accelerate their cloud
migrations".
"We value the support of Datadog, partners like Edrans and customers
who were instrumental in bringing this important integration to the public
cloud community," said Matthew Scott, VP Strategy & Alliances at
Cloudability. "Customers and partners know the success of any
cloud-native framework relies on their software providers' ability to work
together, and Cloudability is committed to building future integrations that
bring these frameworks to life for practical enterprise use."
