Elastifile,
a pioneer of enterprise-grade, scalable file storage for the public
cloud, today announced availability of Elastifile Cloud File System on
AWS Marketplace, providing Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers with the
ability to easily deploy enterprise-grade, scalable file storage in just
a few clicks.
As
organizations increasingly seek to leverage cloud infrastructure,
effective data management has emerged as a critical enabler for seamless
integration. However, the vast majority of enterprise applications were
designed to interface with file systems and expect to leverage standard
NAS protocols (e.g. NFS). As a result, when shifting or bursting
on-premises workflows to cloud, organizations need cloud-based file
storage to deliver native compatibility...thus eliminating the need for
costly, time-consuming application refactoring.
Powered
by a dynamically scalable, cloud-native architecture with intelligent
object tiering, Elastifile Cloud File System (ECFS) makes cloud
integration simpler than ever. ECFS provides POSIX-compliant,
enterprise-grade file storage on AWS, unlocking a broad range of cloud
storage use cases, including industry-specific workflows such as media
rendering, semiconductor design, and traditional enterprise IT (e.g.
ERP, CRM). ECFS also integrates seamlessly with Kubernetes, enabling
data persistence and sharing across containerized environments. By
deploying via AWS Marketplace, customers also benefit from simplified
billing with Elastifile included on their existing AWS bill.
"As
a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), Elastifile was already
helping organizations leverage AWS to implement and accelerate their
cloud-integrated workflows," said Adi Sprachman, Vice President of
Product Management at Elastifile. "The introduction of our AWS
Marketplace solution further simplifies the deployment and management of
enterprise file storage on AWS, thus enabling our customers to spend
less time on IT and more time on their core businesses."
Elastifile
is generally available on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
(GCP), and bare metal on-premises environments, with Microsoft Azure
availability coming soon.
