
Every once in a while, the world of IT sees a technological breakthrough and suddenly, everything's changed.
We went through this back in the days when VMware revolutionized IT by breaking down the "one server, one application" model we all took as the necessary status quo. The inefficiencies and inflexibility of that model were obvious in retrospect. But they weren't so obvious when that's what everyone did.
