Leaseweb USA Celebrates a Year of Record Growth
Leaseweb announced strong growth for its subsidiary Leaseweb USA. The growth was led by a rapidly expanding team, the addition of several new data centers and significant customer wins. The growth speaks to the growing number of businesses seeking a hybrid cloud service partner that can host all their data across the globe.

Part of this year's growth included moving to a new office in Virginia that could keep up with the fast growing team. After the move, the company achieved a number of milestones, including:

  • Accelerated employee growth: 50 percent increase in the number of employees
  • Customer growth: Leaseweb USA doubled its customer base in 2018 due to an expanding data center footprint, superior services expertise
  • A significant increase in revenue: Revenue grew by 25 percent organically
  • Increased data center locations: Throughout the year, Leaseweb USA doubled its data center footprint in the LA and Phoenix areas, while also opening a second location in Virginia. This growth is expected to continue in 2019, as the company just announced a new data center opening in Miami. The Miami data center will allow Leaseweb to expand its influence into the South American region. Leaseweb's U.S. data centers include Washington D.C, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Seattle

"With the global workforce expanding and more businesses looking to hire remote workers and expand their customer base, businesses are attracted to vendors that can serve as a single point of contact. Part of our push for growth comes from wanting to satisfy our customers and partners from around the world," said Lex Boost, CEO of Leaseweb USA.

"As we grow the various locations of our data centers all over the world, our main goal is to continue to serve as a key way to keep businesses connected. We are proud of the growth we have seen in the U.S. in the past year and around the globe, and look forward to what lies ahead in the future."
