Former Technical Advisor to Bill Gates Joins Droplet Computing
Droplet Computing today announced the appointment of former senior Microsoft executive Adam Denning as Non-Executive Director. Denning joins Droplet Computing after 25 years at Microsoft in a variety of technical roles, with the last 22 years located at Microsoft Corporate Headquarters in Redmond, USA, which included three years as assistant technical advisor to Bill Gates.

"With proven software delivery skills, Adam's appointment is a very strategic one for Droplet Computing," commented Peter von Oven, CTO and founder Droplet Computing. "His leadership skills - both from a software development and team perspective - will be immensely valuable as Droplet Computing emerges from a startup into an enterprise software company. We are very excited to welcome Adam to the team."

Reporting to the Chairman of the Board, Denning's experience at Microsoft is of direct relevance to Droplet Computing from a product management and commercial perspective.

"I am passionate about software that brings solutions rather than adding to the array of issues that IT faces today. I am delighted to join Droplet Computing, as the opportunity for its patent-pending container technology to solve critical application compatibility and security issues is vast and unique."
