Capsule8 today
announced it is included as a Security Partner Integration within the newly
launched Google
Cloud Security Command Center
(Cloud SCC), a security and data risk platform to help security
teams prevent, detect, and respond to threats from a single pane of glass.
Capsule8 provides Cloud SCC users run-time protection across their production
environments through the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Marketplace.
Capsule8
is the only company providing high-performance attack protection for Linux
production environments - whether containerized, virtualized, or bare metal.
Capsule8 liberates SecOps from managing a high volume of manual tasks, while
being safe for even the busiest workloads, on the busiest networks. The Capsule8 integration with Google delivers
continuous security across GCP environments to detect and help shut down
attacks as they happen. Capsule8 runs entirely in the customer's Google Compute Engine (GCE) environment
and only requires a lightweight installation-free agent running on each GCE to
stream behavioral telemetry to identify and help shut down attacks in
real-time.
"As public cloud container
services like GCP continue to grow in popularity, innovations such as Cloud SCC
demonstrate Google's commitment to keeping their customers safe and enables
enterprises to confidently take on these new technologies with assurance that
detection methods are reliable and scalable," said John Viega, co-founder and
CEO, Capsule8. "GCP users who select Capsule8 receive assurance that attacks -
even zero-days - are caught in real-time, never endangering their cloud-based
applications. And as regulations around privacy continue to tighten, Capsule8's
detections work double-time to ensure that compliance policies are met."
