CloudJumper, a Microsoft named leading partner
for Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), today announced the appointment of
Frank Anderson as Field CTO. Mr. Anderson's arrival aligns with the
company's strategic Microsoft relationship in streamlining the
deployment and management of Windows Virtual Desktop for CloudJumper's
global network of solution provider partners.
With
2019 on track to be a milestone year for CloudJumper amid the company's
evolution as a premier software provider and enabler of WaaS, DaaS, and
VDI solutions, Frank Anderson will play a key role in supporting
strategic deployments across its global partner network. As Field CTO,
he will be public facing for the company with responsibilities that
include extending the organization's thought leadership in addition to
supporting sales enablement for key accounts.
Before
joining CloudJumper, Anderson held the position of Americas CTO for
ControlUp, a leading IT management and monitoring solution provider.
Prior to ControlUp, he was the senior EUC architect and technical
marketer for VMware where he focused on technical content creation for
VMware products and how they should be designed, deployed and managed.
Before his role at VMware, he was senior solutions architect for Cisco's
UCS Desktop Virtualization Solutions Team where he developed joint
virtual desktop/applications with Cisco partners, including Microsoft,
Citrix and VMware. He also held the positions of technical director,
global strategic alliances and principal TME, Virtual Desktop & App
Product Group for Citrix from 2006 to 2014.
"The
combined value of Cloud Workspace Management Suite (CWMS) and Windows
Virtual Desktop will change the game for solution providers preparing
for its delivery to market," said Anderson. "Leveraging years of
experience in the EUC space, I expect to accelerate CloudJumper partner
readiness as businesses transition to this powerful new workforce
enablement platform."
"Microsoft's
recognition of CloudJumper as one of only two ‘leading platform
providers' to support Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) has put the company
into high gear as our extensive partner network prepares to support
service delivery in Q3," said JD Helms, president of CloudJumper. "Frank
is a true all-star and we welcome him to our team. His expertise will
be critical as we move ahead with a superior offering designed to help
partners and customers get the most out of WVD."
