Are you attending Citrix Synergy 2019 in Atlanta? If so, I invite you to add ThinPrint to your MUST SEE list of vendors.
With so many vendors exhibiting at Citrix Synergy this year, how do you
know which booths
to visit
and who to get on your busy schedule? VMblog has been following ThinPrint for many years, and they never disappoint with what they show off at these events. And ezeep – ThinPrint’s printing solution for Azure-hosted Windows 10 multi-session desktops – ensures secure and easy connectivity to existing print environments and smooth printing from any device.
Read this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Henning Volkmer of ThinPrint to learn what the company has planned for the
upcoming Synergy 2019 event.
VMblog: As a Citrix Synergy
2019 sponsor, give us the rundown of your booth setup this year. How can
attendees find you?
Henning Volkmer: Finding us this year will
be very easy as we are in booth 403, right by the main entrance. Our booth will
look familiar but will feature a new color scheme in celebration of the new
product we are introducing with our ezeep product line to ensure perfect
printing with Windows Virtual Desktops. You'll still see the familiar orange
and there will be a lot of "cloud" blue, as well.
Our knowledgeable
team is bringing plenty of demos to explain how to provide the most
user-friendly, secure and cost-effective print environment for your Citrix
environment and beyond. Connecting branch offices, clinics with Epic and other
EMR systems, ensuring high availability, release-printing and a new cloud
service to support Windows Virtual Desktops are all things attendees can expect
to see.
VMblog: What type of theme do
you have planned for this year's booth?
Volkmer: We are going to show
innovative solutions to ensure new technologies like Windows Virtual Desktops
and "The Future of Work" can rely on simple, cost-effective and secure printing
whenever workflows call for paper.
We have worked with
our partner Stratodesk to introduce additional remote management capabilities
for ThinPrint Hub when it is deployed to branch offices or remote sites with
Web Console and Cloud Console. As a solid-state endpoint for printing at these
locations, this updated remote management solution makes it significantly easier
to update printer settings and security configurations, while remaining up-to-date
on the status of the overall environment.
VMblog: Why should a Synergy
attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?
Volkmer: ThinPrint - Official
Launch Partner for Windows Virtual Desktops alongside Citrix - is introducing a
new product at Citrix Synergy 2019. It combines one of the hottest topics in
the virtual desktop space this year with one of the most important on-premises
functions. There‘s a lot to learn!
VMblog: If an attendee visits
your booth, what's the big message that they will take back to work with
them?
Volkmer: The overall message
we want visitors to take home is that we're the ideal partner to solve any
challenges or objectives they face around printing.
We have supported
on-premises and private cloud environments for almost 20 years, helping to
increase user density on Citrix servers, cut down on bandwidth use, simply and
securely connect branch offices, eliminate remote print servers and more.
We continue to
innovate in this space, and at the same time, take all that experience to
deliver new and innovative cloud printing solutions like our ezeep for Windows
Virtual Desktops.
VMblog: You are a long time Synergy sponsor. What keeps you coming back?
Volkmer: We have been a player
at Citrix Synergy for almost two decades. Citrix is one of our most important
partners and we love seeing, and working with, the community. There's always a
lot of productive "shop talk," but also a lot of fun to be had.
VMblog: Can you give VMblog
readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this
year?
Volkmer: We'll have an
exciting mix of our leading, world-class private cloud ThinPrint solutions as
well as our ezeep cloud printing services to show that ThinPrint is the ideal partner
for anyone who looking to solve specific challenges around printing or is
looking to truly optimize their environments.
We're ready to share
our expertise in delivering the latest and greatest in private cloud printing,
as well as introducing our cloud printing solution for Windows Virtual
Desktops. Those who are really curious or can't make it to Atlanta can take a
sneak-peak here: https://www.thinprint.com/en/products/ezeep-for-windows-virtual-desktop/
VMblog: How does your company
work or partner with Citrix? What value
add do you provide?
Volkmer: ThinPrint has been a
Citrix partner for almost 20 years. Our teams work closely together to ensure
that our solutions are fine tuned to help Citrix customers run their
environments at optimal performance at the lowest cost.
High availability,
security through encryption or release printing, support for printing from
mobile devices and simple connectivity to remote sites or branch offices with
the ThinPrint Hub are just some of the topics we cover.
As a fellow launch
partner, we're excited to bring added value to the Windows Virtual Desktops
community together with Citrix later this year.
VMblog: What are you looking forward to most at this year's
event?
Volkmer: This
year we are especially looking forward to showcasing a completely new solution
for a new market segment. We are ready to spearhead in-depth conversations with
customers and partners, sharing details and gathering feedback.
Of
course, we're always looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones
as Citrix Synergy is not just an event that delivers lots of valuable
information and learning, but also brings together one of the most interesting
communities in IT.
VMblog: Attendees always
enjoy a good trade show giveaway. What can an attendee hope to get at
your booth?
Volkmer: We will, once again, be
giving away our newly-designed, fun and comfortable T-Shirts that Synergy
attendees have grown to know and love over the years. In addition, we'll contribute a Sonos One
speaker for the Citrix raffle at the end of the show.
