Are you attending VMworld 2019 in San Francisco, CA? If so, I invite you to add NAKIVO to your MUST SEE list of vendors.
With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which
booths
to visit
and who to get on your busy schedule? The team from VMblog is really
looking
forward to meeting the team from NAKIVO this year. Why? NAKIVO Backup & Replication offers a complete data protection feature set for virtualized environments, including local and offsite VM backup and replication, support for live applications and databases, instant granular recovery, network acceleration, global data deduplication, Web UI, AES-256 encryption, advanced reporting, and cloud support. They also offer a VM Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Replication-as-a-Service (RaaS), and Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solution for cloud and service providers.
Read this exclusive pre-show interview with Veniamin Simonov, Director of Product Management at NAKIVO to learn what they have
planned for the
upcoming VMworld 2019 event.
VMblog: As a VMworld 2019 sponsor,
how can people find you this year?
Veniamin Simonov: This year we have a 10' x 10' booth, which is more than enough for
our team of 4-5 people. Our booth number is 1869. Make sure you don't miss out
on the chance to meet last year's VMworld Gold Award winners!
Is there anything unique
about this year's booth setup? Do you
have a theme?
Simonov: As is the case with our solution, we strive for simplicity and cool
blue colors in our booth setup. Overall, the design corresponds to our
corporate style and gives a quick presentation of what you can expect from our product.
We are seriously proud of the #1 Backup & Site Recovery title that you'll
see at our booth. Our team hopes you'll find our style to your liking.
VMblog: What should VMworld
attendees be looking for in a backup and recovery solution this year? What questions
should they be asking?
Simonov: Each company has its own unique environment. What people should be
asking is whether the solution is reliable, quick, and easy on IT resources.
They should enquire into which environments the solution can protect, how easy it
is to integrate with hardware, whether it helps achieve high availability and maintain
business continuity, etc. We are pretty sure attendees will find everything
they need in NAKIVO Backup & Replication and they will be surprised to
learn that all of this is available at a fraction of the cost of competing
solutions. Don't hesitate to ask us about our pricing, too.
VMblog: Can you give readers a few
reasons why your product or service is considered unique?
Simonov: If you are interested in an integrated solution that offers
enterprise-grade data protection for physical, virtual, and cloud environments
at the price of an SMB solution, come visit us at booth #1869. Our solution
boasts a uniquely affordable price tag while offering the best data protection value
for your money. Improved performance, reduced storage space requirements, high
backup reliability, and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface can tremendously
simplify your data protection processes. NAKIVO Backup & Replication is
built for quick and easy automation of your backup and disaster recovery
operations. What's more, this is just a small sneak peek of what we can show
you.
VMblog: Why should a VMworld
attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?
Simonov: Getting to see the lightweight, highly scalable, and tremendously
cost-efficient software that can protect your data across different
environments in action is a sight to behold. Getting the hands-on experience is
really important, too, so we are planning on providing our visitors with such an
opportunity.
VMblog: How does your company and
product fit within the VMware ecosystem?
Simonov: VMware was the first platform that our solution supported at its
launch. We have the complete package of features for backup, replication, and
recovery of VMware environments, and the list of features keeps growing
rapidly. We are always working tirelessly to add support for the most recent
version of vSphere shortly after its release.
VMblog: What are you looking
forward to most at VMworld this year?
Simonov: Meeting new and old friends, networking, exploring new ideas and
trends, getting to know what's coming next in IT, and letting the world know
about the new version of our solution, of course. Bringing together more than
21,000 attendees, VMworld is definitely the best place to make all of these exciting
things happen.
VMblog: This isn't the first time you've sponsored VMworld. How many times has it been?
Simonov: It is definitely not our first one. This is our 4th
time visiting the VMworld, yet we are definitely as excited as the first timers
here because we are about to showcase the new version of NAKIVO Backup &
Replication, which we've been working on all these months.
VMblog: What would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about
attending VMworld but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?
Simonov: It is definitely worth it. Between the chance to
meet the experts of the industry, getting first-hand knowledge on the new
trends on the market, and acquiring invaluable experience in general, VMworld is
the best event to do so. It is, after all, the biggest and the most important
VMware-related event in the world!
VMblog: What do you hope to come away with from exhibiting at VMworld?
Simonov: During the previous VMworld in US, NAKIVO won "Best
of VMworld 2018" Gold Award for Data Protection. It's not a secret we are
hoping to get another one this year.
