cloudtamer.io, the leading cloud governance solution, today
announced availability of the solution within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) C2S
and SC2S regions to support Top Secret and Secret workloads. These air-gapped
AWS regions bring the benefits of the cloud - agility, speed, ease - to members
of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
The DoD and IC require a multi-fabric cloud strategy. Unlike other
organizations, they can't just code, test, and deploy once but, rather, must go
through these processes across the unclassified, classified, secret, and
top-secret fabrics. With cloudtamer.io now available in these high-side AWS
regions, teams will have access to account provisioning and management,
compliance automation, and budget enforcement capabilities across all
workloads.
"We have to design and deploy to support a multi-cloud architecture
across different regions," said Tyler Haley, Cloud Service Provider Lead
at United States Special Operations Command. "We work with a lot of
vendors to support our mission and it's key that those solutions support
regions like SC2S. Automating everything in our cloud environment, including
governance, is equally critical. This ensures teams can develop quickly and
iteratively to meet their unique and time-sensitive application and mission
needs - while still giving our cloud service provider team the right level of
visibility and control. We look to solutions like cloudtamer.io to support
handling these requirements across our low- and high-side cloud
environments."
"Having worked to support the IC prior to leading cloudtamer.io, I've
seen the challenges inherent in secure development and deployment," said
Brian Price, CEO and co-founder of cloudtamer.io. "Our team's experience
and background with this community gave us unique insight into meeting
requirements, and we're thrilled to be able to support these public sector
agencies across all regions."
The cloudtamer.io team will be showcasing
capabilities to the DoD and IC communities this week in booth 543 at the
Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS)
Worldwide Conference in Tampa and, in September, in booth 59 at the
Intelligence & National Security Summit in National
Harbor, MD.
