Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, today announced the appointment of Kirill Tatarinov as
Executive Vice Chairman to help lead the company in its next phase of
growth. An industry veteran with over 30 years of business and
technology experience, Tatarinov served on the Acronis board of
directors since December 2018 and previously held leadership positions
at enterprise software companies including Citrix Systems, Inc. and
Microsoft Corp.
Tatarinov's
experience executing effective product strategies and his deep
knowledge of enterprise IT, scaling innovative technology businesses and
developing successful partner channels will help Acronis continue
building its cyber protection strategy across the enterprise sector to
ensure the Swiss-Singaporean company meets its ambitious strategic goals.

Kirill
Tatarinov has a track record of building and leading
multi-billion-dollar businesses. Most recently he was the President and
CEO at Citrix Systems, Inc. (CTXS). Under his leadership, Citrix
introduced a new vision and strategy and dramatically advanced corporate
culture focusing on innovation and transformation to the Cloud.
Before
joining Citrix, Tatarinov spent thirteen years at Microsoft Corporation
in several executive leadership roles including as the President of the
Microsoft Business Solutions Division (MBS) with end-to-end
responsibility for the Microsoft Dynamics business. Prior to that, he
was Corporate Vice President of the Management and Solutions Division,
where he oversaw the Microsoft Windows management technologies and
products, including Microsoft System Center, as well as Windows Server
solutions. Tatarinov was a member of Microsoft's Senior Leadership Team.
He is currently also on the boards of Avaloq and Acumatica as well as
mentoring several tech start-ups and acting as an expert advisor to
industry investment firms.
