Nucleus Cyber Partners with Inceptus to Deliver NC Protect as a Managed Security Service
Nucleus Cyber, the intelligent data-centric security company for the modern workplace, today announced a partnership with Inceptus to offer NC Protect to customers as a managed security service and provide permissions auditing services using the platform.

"We are excited to offer our clients Nucleus Cyber's dynamic data security solution to prevent insider threats, protect and audit access to their sensitive information," said John Schlager, CEO and Co-Founder of Inceptus. "Our customers can now easily add highly granular data security that ensures only authorized personnel who should have access to sensitive information can see it - and control what they can do with that information to prevent data loss and misuse."

NC Protect is content and context aware to automatically find, classify and secure unstructured data on-premises, in the cloud and in hybrid environments. The solution protects against breaches, sensitive data misuse and unauthorized file access, enabling enterprises to collaborate securely. NC Protect dynamically adjusts file security based on real-time comparison of user context and file content to make sure that users view, use and share files according to their organization's regulations and policies.

Inceptus is a next generation Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) providing cyber security services to customers. The Inceptus team leverages its commercial and government cybersecurity domain enterprise to address nation state cyber-attacks against federated data stores of the US government and Fortune 500 companies, providing a deep understanding of security to protect customers' enterprise systems and data. The partnership with Nucleus Cyber enables Inceptus to offer NC Protect to customers as a managed security service and provide permissions auditing services using the platform to assess user access and permissions to unstructured content.

"We welcome Inceptus to our channel program as our first MSSP partner. Inceptus customers can now benefit from dynamic data security to protect their most sensitive and confidential information from rising internal threats, including cyberespionage and misuse by overprivileged users," Kurt Mueffelmann, CEO of Nucleus Cyber, stated. "Inceptus can also leverage the NC Protect platform to audit access and permissions to a customer's unstructured content to identify and address potential security issues stemming from over-permissioned users."

NC Protect is fully integrated with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, Dropbox and files shares. NC Protect's highly granular context and content aware controls allow customers to safeguard data and IP in midsize to large enterprises, as well as industries with large amounts of regulated and sensitive data, including government, defense, utilities, financial services, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
