Today, Kaspersky announced the appointment of Rob Cataldo to the position of managing director of Kaspersky North America. As managing director of the region, Rob will be responsible for the company's sales, business development and marketing functions as well as achieving the company's objectives for growth in market shares and profitability. Rob will also share management oversight and responsibility for the public relations, customer support, finance, human resources and information technology departments. 

Rob brings more than two decades of sales experience to his new role with prior positions held at impressive technology organizations. Preceding his role as managing director, Rob was vice president of enterprise sales at Kaspersky North America, during which time he was responsible for securing enterprise customer wins and managing the B2B sales team.

Rob's leadership over the past six years has helped the company achieve momentum and success by being instrumental in expanding Kaspersky's customer footprint from SMB and education to the large commercial enterprise sector. Rob has transformed Kaspersky's sales strategy toward advanced cyber security solutions and threat intelligence resulting in a 2019 YoY threat intelligence services revenue growth of 127 percent. He has also led, coached and motivated the enterprise team to achieve 20 percent YoY revenue growth in 2019.

During his time at Kaspersky, the organization has won several awards in the security technology industry and channel press. Most recently in November 2019, Kaspersky was recognized as a 2019 Customer Choice for Endpoint Protection Platforms on Gartner Peer Insights. This prestigious recognition highlights Kaspersky's status as a top provider of endpoint protection solutions, and puts the company in a position for continued growth in the upcoming year.
