Cloudticity Oxygen Upgraded to Harness Secure Healthcare Data and Applications in Multi-Cloud Environments

Cloudticity, a next-gen managed services, compliance, and security partner for healthcare companies, has expanded the capabilities of Cloudticity Oxygen-the company's HITRUST-certified managed cloud solution for healthcare. The new Oxygen application client console has been strategically redesigned to easily monitor, manage, and secure multi-cloud deployments. It's the first console to provide a single-source view of framework-to-framework compliance mapping across both AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments, satisfying the complex data management and protection requirements of companies working with healthcare data.

COVID-19-inspired trends are driving transformation across the healthcare industry. In the face of surging needs, healthcare organizations are modernizing antiquated data systems and migrating to public clouds such as AWS and Azure. That said, in-house IT teams with limited resources and cloud expertise struggle to rapidly scale and manage cloud environments while also maintaining compliance with HIPAA and similar health data protection standards. Cloudticity Oxygen helps bridge this gap, making the cloud more accessible and continuously ensuring compliance, ultimately enabling greater innovation across the healthcare industry-all while resting on the secure foundation of Cloudticity's HITRUST-certified platform.

Cloudticity Oxygen enables IT to unleash healthcare innovation via groundbreaking automation and deep cloud expertise. By offloading infrastructure operations, security, and compliance management to Oxygen, healthcare IT leaders can free up internal resources to focus on innovation. Unlike traditional managed cloud solutions that can provide a secure environment but offer limited flexibility or visibility, Oxygen frees IT to deploy, retire, and configure multiple cloud services and check controls against requirements from multiple regulatory bodies. Oxygen functions as a monitoring and optimization umbrella that sits over an environment and its resources. Customers have complete control over their production environments, while maintaining full security and compliance oversight.

To address the need for greater clarity and agility in cloud environments, Cloudticity redesigned both Oxygen's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). Customers are now able to  visualize  a single screen how their system is working at a universal level. Utilizing framework-to-framework compliance mapping across multiple cloud providers is a big step forward for healthcare IT, and establishes a model for potential application in other highly regulated industries.

"Healthcare companies often ask us how to navigate the spaghetti of frameworks in their cloud environments. They want to know if  their cloud strategy is sound, their system is robust and safe, and how they can prove it," said Rob Williams, director of technology and product management at Cloudticity. "Oxygen's next-gen customer console delivers these views and insights by providing a central location to easily monitor multi-cloud configurations, compliance, and security. Customers  get a single-pane-of-glass view across their entire environment, both clouds and all the services."
