Lacework,
a security platform for the cloud generation, announced that it
is participating in the launch of Professional Services in AWS Marketplace.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers can now find and purchase services
from Lacework in AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog of software,
data, and services that makes it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy
software and data products that run on AWS. As a participant in the
launch, Lacework is one of the first cloud security providers to quote
and contract services in AWS Marketplace to help customers implement,
support, and manage their software on AWS.
To
keep up with cloud innovation at scale, security must shift from
reactive monitoring to proactive security observability and context
driven by automation and machine learning. Lacework's Cloud Security
Platform delivers the continuous protection of applications in the
cloud, including configuration compliance, vulnerability discovery, host
workload, container, and Kubernetes security. The Lacework Polygraph
maps the relationships between cloud changes with precision and adds
reliable security context to cloud activity, drastically reducing setup
and maintenance of security tasks. Customers save between 5 and 30 hours
a week and are able to accelerate feedback loops with precise
telemetry, high context alerting and APIs for DevSecOps collaboration.
80%
of Laceworks new customers in 2020 consolidated 2 to 4 security tools.
In addition to utilizing the Lacework platform, Lacework customers often
rely on premium services from Lacework's customer success team to
accelerate the return on their investment. Until now, these customers
had to contract services outside of AWS Marketplace and could not
acquire both product and premium services in AWS Marketplace. With new
services from Lacework available in AWS Marketplace, customers have a
simplified way to purchase and be billed for both software and related
services in a centralized place. Customers can further streamline their
purchase of software with standard contract terms to simplify and
accelerate procurement cycles.
"We
built Lacework to enable teams to build fast and stay secure while
constantly changing infrastructure and applications on AWS," said Dan
Hubbard, CEO of Lacework. "Now, our AWS customers can access advanced
services and support to help them implement and manage their workloads
on AWS with Lacework, from one centralized location, in AWS
Marketplace."
