Morpheus v5.3.3 Transforms How Enterprises Build, Manage, and Consume VMs, Clouds, and Containers in a Single Unified Platform

Morpheus Data, the hybrid cloud application orchestration company, is continuing its rapid-fire release cadence with its latest software release targeted at enterprises trying to manage a complex mix of VMware, Kubernetes, and Public Cloud services.

Recent Gartner research indicates that roughly 50% of container management falls on the shoulders of platform engineering and IT operations teams while another 21% is the shared responsibility of DevOps professionals.  This same research shows that 62% of organizations are worried about a lack of skilled resources and 43% cite operational complexity as a top concern.

Morpheus directly speaks to these concerns by simplifying how IT Operations works across private and public clouds as well as heterogeneous Kubernetes clusters.  This eliminates management silos for platform engineering teams trying to enable developer self-service and modernize legacy applications.

Highlights from Morpheus v5.3.3 include:

  • Morpheus Kubernetes Service now includes Prometheus, Grafana, Calico and others along with a package manager for rapid provisioning.
  • Custom Cluster Layouts to enable push-button deployment of distributions such as Rancher's k3s, AWS EKS-D or vanilla upstream Kubernetes.
  • Brownfield Kubernetes enhancements to import and manage CNCF conformant clusters like Rancher, OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, and vanilla Kubernetes.
  • Day-2 Automation Integration for native execution of cluster management operations and simplified use of scripts from Ansible, python, bash, and more.

Morpheus Data is a Silver sponsor at this year's KubeCon | CloudNativeCon and can be found at booth S21 in the physical event or online at the virtual event.

Prospective customers can request a customized product demo plus set up a financial justification session with an automation specialist at www.morpheusdata.com/demo.
