Micro Focus' Continuous Automation Testing Platform Recognized as a Leader by Independent Research Firm

Micro Focus announced that it has been recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Continuous Automation Testing Platforms, Q4 2022 report. The Micro Focus Continuous Automation Testing (CAT) Platform was cited for its broad set of capabilities and its enterprise, team and persona level quality perspectives in value streams. 

The Micro Focus CAT Platform includes ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) Octane, UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Family, LoadRunner Family, and ValueEdge. The Forrester report gave Micro Focus' CAT Platform the highest scores possible in the omnichannel testing, mobile device testing and API (Application Programming Interface) test design and automation criteria. The CAT platform also received on par or the highest score possible in nearly every other criteria including, but not limited to, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business enterprise applications, combined automation, test scripting and coding, and test management.  

The report states, "The ‘shift everywhere' vision of the past several years has made the converged Micro Focus and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) software testing offering one of the most comprehensive CAT platforms in the market."

Micro Focus' CAT Platform uses functional testing, load testing and security testing to direct organizations by giving feedback to improve quality and increase their velocity by detecting and addressing defects. These solutions help manage manual and automated continuous testing to improve consistency and coverage, eliminate redundant efforts, versioning for test cases and analyze quality levels to concentrate testing efforts.
