ControlUp, the industry leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX)
management, announced the appointment of Jon Wallace as chief technology
officer (CTO). Wallace's significant contributions to the industry have also
earned him a
CTO
of the Year Award in the IT Software category of the 18th Annual 2023 Globee Awards for Information Technology competition. ControlUp was also named a
winner of the
Remote Tech Breakthrough
Awards for the Overall Remote
Employee IT Support of the Year.
Wallace has a stellar
track record in the technology industry, having achieved consistent, remarkable
success throughout his career. As the co-founder and former CTO of Avacee, a
cloud-first platform for managing systems and devices, Wallace joined ControlUp
via the acquisition of Avacee. Prior to Avacee, he held key positions in other
successful ventures from Internet security to cloud analytics. Before
that, he was VP of unified IT product strategy and marketing at Ivanti, which
he joined via the acquisition of AppSense. He had various executive positions
during his 12-year tenure at AppSense, with the last one being CTO.
