Build and Test Kubernetes Applications with Wing Simulator: Exclusive VMblog Video Interview | Wing Cloud at KubeCon 2023

In this exclusive VMblog video interview during KubeCon + CloudNativeCon US 2023, we speak with Elad Ben-Israel, the CEO and co-founder of Wing Cloud.

Watch as we learn more about Wing Cloud and their technology. The company recently launched out of stealth with $20 million in seed funding back in July.

Wing Cloud is the company behind the open source programming language Winglang which works across all clouds. Watch as Ben-Israel explains what makes this programming language unique and how it impacts Kubernetes users. And he also explores how developers and DevOps should change how they approach Kubernetes.

At KubeCon, Wing Cloud announced the launch of the "Wing Simulator" which enables developers to build and test their Kubernetes applications locally. Ben-Israel explains how it works and its benefits, saying the simulator works by running on the developer's local machine, while simultaneously connecting to cloud resources in the same programming model, enabling pre-production testing and comprehension without the need for staging environments, complex configurations, and remote debugging - all of which are time-consuming and expensive.
